چکیده
In this study, the degradation of diclofenac (DCF), a frequently detected non-steroidal pharmaceutical, was evaluated by using UV-B and UV-C (265, 285, 310 nm) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) alone in combination with hydrogen peroxide (UV/H2O2) free chlorine (UV/FC). The DCF followed pseudo first-order kinetic, their trend reflected pattern molar absorption coefficients oxidants. A positive synergistic factor found for UV-LED driven advanced oxidation processes almost all cases, but despite higher rates, overall electricity demand is similar to UV due oxidants’ energy cost. rigorous kinetic mechanisms at different wavelengths were proposed two processes, UV/H2O2 UV/FC, where predicted values respectively kHO = 9.12 · 109 M-1 s-1 kCl 1.30 1010 s-1. No significant synergy (p>0.05) dual-wavelength system (265 + 285 nm), time-based constants cases changed linearly lamp intensity. Finally, dissolved organic carbon phytotoxicity analysis revealed low mineralisation (around 20-30%) associated formation stable dimers decrease toxicity towards tomato radish seeds. main, work shows great potential implementing wavelength-specific LEDs water treatments effectively designing reactor playing adjustable intensities rates.

Measuring the Output of UV Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs)
As UV lamp technology changes, so must the tools we use. The evolution of UV LEDs to cure inks, coatings and adhesives is having an effect on UV measurement equipment and technique. UV LEDs are narrow bandwidth sources with typical emission in the 365-405 nm region. Contrasted to medium pressure UV microwave and arc lamps, which emit across a broad spectrum, UV LEDs have high output in a very l...

متن کاملDevelopment and future of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes: UV-LED will replace the UV lamp
Ultraviolet light-emitting diodes (UV-LEDs) have started replacing UV lamps. The power per LED of high-power LED products has reached 12 W (14 A), which is 100 times the values observed ten years ago. In addition, the cost of these high-power LEDs has been decreasing. In this study, we attempt to understand the technologies and potential of UV-LEDs.
متن کاملUV/ H2O2 Advanced Oxidation Process for Simultaneous Removal of NO and SO2: A Review
This study presents a review on advanced oxidation processes (AOP) for simultaneous removal of NO and SO2. AOP is based on using a strong oxidant such as ozone and H2O2 which is able to generate highly reactive intermediates. The pollutant will be oxidized and removed by these intermediates. In recent years, AOP has been considered as an effective and attractive technology in the field of flue ...
